A terry cloth robe is denser and more absorbent (ours is a medium 400–450 GSM), while a muslin robe is light and breathable. Muslin dries faster, takes less closet space and feels lighter on the body, which makes it easy to wear in every season.
Is this 4-layer muslin robe warm enough for winter?Yes. The four gauze layers trap air between the weaves, giving warmth without bulk, which makes it our warmest muslin kimono robe. The open weave still breathes, so it stays comfortable in summer.
How do I care for it, and will it shrink?Machine wash cold with similar colors, tumble dry low or hang to dry, and avoid bleach. Muslin may shrink slightly on the first wash and softens with every wash after that.
