CareMachine wash cold, gets softer every wash
Machine wash cold; wash it separately the first time. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Iron on medium if you want a smoother look, or leave the natural crinkle. Do not bleach.
Expect around 3 to 5% shrinkage after the first wash; the muslin softens with every wash. Larger sizes need a large-capacity machine.

Muslin is an open, gauze-like cotton weave. This bedspread stacks four layers of it, so it is thicker than a single-layer muslin or gauze blanket while staying breathable. It is handwoven from 100% long-staple Turkish cotton in Denizli, Turkey.
Is a 4-layer muslin bedspread warm enough for winter?The four layers hold warm air between them, so it works as a year-round coverlet in mild climates. In very cold weather, pair it with a duvet or quilt and keep the muslin as the top layer.
Will it shrink in the wash?Expect minimal shrinkage of around 3 to 5% after the first wash. Machine wash cold, wash it separately the first time, and tumble dry low or hang to dry. Iron on medium if you want a smoother look.
